How you can get paid $10,000 to watch Super Bowl LVIII

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — If you plan on watching the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII vs the San Francisco 49ers, you could get paid $10,000 to do it.

You can’t bet on novelty props in Kansas. But one lucky Chiefs fan could certainly make a lot of money on them, without wagering anything.

Super Bowl LVIII: Early wagers overwhelmingly on underdog Kansas City Chiefs

Oddspedia, a betting affiliate website, will pay one person $10,000 for what they are calling a dream job for the day of the Super Bowl.

That fan has to watch the game and pay close attention to things like who wins the coin toss, how long the National Anthem takes and the color of Gatorade poured on the winning coach after the game.

“All the fun stuff,” Oddspedia Senior Betting Analyst Dustin Saracini said. “So basically the winning applicant will just be taking notes, collecting all these answers of the novelty bets and reporting back to us. It’s kind of really that simple, $10,000 to basically just pay attention to the Super Bowl and have some fun.”

The job doesn’t come with a game ticket, but the company said they’ll advance the winner half the money if they want to head to Las Vegas to watch the game on the Strip.

You can apply for the position until Monday here. One winner will be selected.
