WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas State University Wildcats started slow and couldn’t overcome, losing to Oklahoma on Tuesday night, 73-53.
The Wildcats went the first eight minutes of the game before registering a single point, a free throw from David N’Guessan, to make it 8-1.
It was a N’Guessan jump shot at the 11:49 mark of the first half that was the Wildcats’ first field goal.
Tylor Perry was the leading scorer for the Wildcats, scoring 23. He was the only player to score in double figures for K-State.
As a team, the Wildcats shot just 30.2% from the field and a dismal 14.3% from three. The team also turned the ball over 14 times and was outrebounded 39-35 by the Sooners.
