BALTIMORE (KSNT) – Travis Kelce continues to cement his legacy as one of the best to ever play tight end in the National Football League.
On Sunday, Kelce broke the record for the most playoff receptions in league history. He racked up seven catches in the first half of Sunday’s contest in Baltimore to reach 152 total in his career, surpassing Jerry Rice’s previous record of 151.
He also tied Rice’s record for most postseasons with at least 150 total receiving yards, with six.
In the Chiefs’ divisional round win against the Bills, Mahomes and Kelce broke the NFL record for most touchdowns by a quarterback/ pass-catcher in postseason history. The duo added to their record with another one in the first quarter of Sunday’s AFC Championship against the Ravens, increasing their total to 17.
