KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Jason Kelce was in Buffalo on Sunday to support his brother, Travis Kelce, and made sure to have a good time.
Jason talked about his shenanigans and also about his time meeting Travis’ superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast.
The newly retired Philadelphia Eagles center said he got “caught up in the magic of Bills Mafia” while tailgating ahead of the game.
“I don’t know what I was expecting, but everybody was just beyond excited to have a good time and enjoy some football,” Jason said.
Jason stole the spotlight in the star-studded suite by making national headlines with his touchdown celebration.
“The energy, the shenanigans. I was like, ‘I got to have my shirt off.’” Jason said.
He revealed that his wife, Kylie Kelce, had told him to be on his best behavior because they were meeting Travis’ 12-time Grammy Award-winning girlfriend.
“I gave Kylie a heads-up. She said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.’ I said, ‘I’m not asking for permission; I’m doing this.'” Jason said. “She was already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor.”
“This is how my mind works after 40 Miller Lites.”
It sounds like the fun and games Jason participated in made a great impression on Swift, according to Travis.
“Tay said she absolutely loved you,” Travis said.
Jason said his rowdy antics were all part of the Jason Kelce charm.
“I want to make my best first impression, and this was my best chance.”
They also laughed off Jason’s daughter’s reaction that he shared on “X” after the game on Sunday. Jason said Kylie received a text saying, “Ellie [Jason’s Daughter] said, ‘Dad’s boobs are showing!'”
Kelce jumped out more than once during his time in the stadium. He also jumped out to help a young Bills fan holding a sign that said, “I love T Swift.”
The older Kelce brother picked up the fan to make sure Swift could see it.
Overall, it sounds like Travis’ suite continues to have a blast during Chiefs games, no matter where the game is.
