More fog and showers tonight, some slick spots possible west by morning

23 January 2024

What We’re Tracking

Rain likely tonight into Wednesday

Lots of foggy weather

Warmer pattern for next week

**DENSE FOG ADVISORY** – In effect tonight through early Wednesday

**WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY** – In effect tonight for northwestern half of the area

Another round of showers tonight along with areas of dense fog. While actual air temperatures should stay at or above freezing, some of the road temperatures are still well below freezing and might promote slick spots forming, even while it is 33-34° outside tonight.

Rain and fog clears out again Wednesday morning with cloudy skies expected for the afternoon. Highs are expected to be in the upper 30s, close to 40°, with overnight lows in the lower 30s. Temperatures won’t climb much higher toward the weekend, but conditions should dry out by then apart from another slight chance for a few showers very early Saturday morning.

Looking ahead into next week, there are indications that we’re looking at a warmer and drier weather pattern setting up. Already by Monday, we could see high temperatures in the lower 50s.
