Dense fox advisory in Central, East and NE Kansas

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The National Weather Service of Topeka (NWS) has placed large portions of central, east central and northeast Kansas under a dense fog advisory.

Drivers should use caution because driving due to low visibility. Visibility may be a quarter mile or less in dense fog, according to the NWS.

The advisory will be in effect until noon today.

At 4:55 a.m., the NWS identified Brown, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Jefferson, Dickinson, Geary, Morris, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Douglas, Lyon, Osage, Franklin, Coffey and Anderson as being in the dense fog advisory.
