Man found guilty for murder, slew of other charges in connection to Topeka crime spree

TOPEKA (KSNT) – A 21-year-old woman is under arrest following a robbery at a local coffee shop.
Ronnie Connell with the Topeka Police Department (TPD) said in a press release that officers were called around 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19 to Milk and Honey Coffee Co. at 2200 SE 29th Street. Police were told a woman entered the coffee shop and made demands for cash.
TPD responding to the call located a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident and detained two occupants. In a later update on Jan. 20, Connell said a 21-year-old Topeka woman was arrested on numerous charges including:
Aggravated robbery
Aggravated assault
Criminal restraint
Vehicle registration violation
Displaying a plate not assigned to the vehicle
Driving while license is suspended
Vehicle liability insurance required
Warrant
