Bills again call for shoveling volunteers ahead of Chiefs game

19 January 2024

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Bills are once again calling for volunteers to help shovel out Highmark Stadium ahead of Sunday’s AFC divisional round game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The team is looking for volunteers to arrive and register at the stadium beginning at 2 p.m. Friday to shovel snow throughout the day and evening.

Similar to last week, the rate is $20 an hour and a break area is provided.

Fans interested should have proper photo ID and be dressed to work in the weather. Shovels will be provided, but workers are encouraged to bring one of their own. The entrance area is the guest services booth at Gate 7, Section 112.

Despite the best efforts of shovelers last week, Highmark Stadium still had a fair amount of snow when fans arrived Monday for the Steelers-Bills game.
