LA CROSSE, Kan. (KSNW) — The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is assisting authorities in Rush County after the body of an 18-year-old man was found.
According to the KBI, the Rush County Sheriff’s Office was contacted around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday by a passerby who reported they spotted a body lying in the south ditch on Avenue N, about a half mile east of Highway 183. Deputies responded to the scene where they found the 18-year-old man’s body.
His car was found closer to Highway 183, stuck in the snow. The KBI says at the moment no foul play is suspected, but there will be a thorough investigation and an autopsy has been scheduled.
No other details have been released.
