TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka police are responding to a shooting call Thursday evening in Downtown Topeka.
A police official tells 27 News there were reports of gunshots around 5:30 p.m. at 6th Street and Taylor. One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The shooting scene is not too far from Topeka’s two major hospitals, east of Washburn Avenue.
