5 arrests made in Hutchinson over suspected fentanyl pills

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Hutchinson police say five arrests were made on Wednesday after suspected fentanyl pills were discovered.

The Reno County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit and Hutchinson Police Department Special Operations Unit served search warrants at two local motel rooms. During the search, approximately 150 suspected fentanyl pills and $1,500 in drug proceeds were found.

Five people were arrested on various charges, including suspicion of fentanyl possession and distribution. Four people were booked on suspicion of aggravated child endangerment. KSN News does not name suspects until they have been formally charged.
