SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) — Three teens were taken to the hospital following a crash south of Salina Friday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened shortly before 8 a.m. on Old Highway 81 at Farrelly Road, about two miles south of Salina.
Troopers say the driver of a northbound pickup truck turned in front of a southbound car, causing a crash.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the 16-year-old driver of the car and their 17-year-old passenger were taken to Salina Regional Medical Center with suspected serious injuries. The 17-year-old driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with suspected minor injuries.
No one else was in the pickup truck. All three teens were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to the KHP.
