3 men arrested in St. Louis for fatal shooting in Independence

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Three men have been arrested in St. Louis on Thursday for the fatal shooting of Jason York in Independence back in October 2023.

According to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, they, alongside the Independence Police Department, secured three arrest warrants for murder based on the investigation into York’s death.

Between 6:30 and 9 a.m., the U.S. Marshals Service and the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office arrested the three men in North St. Louis, Missouri.


Man charged with 4 counts of attempted murder after stabbing in Concordia

The three men from St. Louis, aged 20, 23 and 37, were all arrested for first-degree murder and aggravated robbery and booked into the St. Louis County Jail. The KBI says extradition is expected.

An investigation is ongoing.
