$220,000 worth of custom jewelry stolen from KC Plaza store, police say

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF) – The Kansas City Police Department is looking for a suspect who allegedly stole $220,000 in custom jewelry from a Country Club Plaza storefront in January.

Police are trying to locate a gray Nissan sedan that they say was used on Jan. 21 in a burglary at Vinca Jewelry on Jefferson Street. The car’s model is believed to be an Altima.

According to authorities, $220,000 worth of jewelry, including a diamond slice necklace, was stolen. Both the car and necklace can be seen in the pictures provided by the police below.
